What is new

Product news and releases, newest first.

  1. Draft legal documents published for review

    Legal

Terms, privacy, copyright, acceptable use, child safety, and subprocessor pages now show the current counsel drafts, each marked as a draft with its last updated date. None of them is final or binding yet.

  2. Help center and developer docs built

    Feature

A searchable help center with 49 articles and a developer documentation site with a try-it console now exist in the build. Neither is public yet.

  3. Streaming tabs in the Browser

    Feature

The Browser handles streaming tabs and media keys. You sign in by hand, we do not store streaming credentials, and protected video that cannot play shows a plain message rather than a workaround.

  4. Stronger protection for internal services

    Security

Internal service calls now require a signed credential, request size limits are enforced, and provider keys are removed from logs. Accessibility fixes also landed across the app, including dialog focus, keyboard tab navigation, and dark theme contrast.

  5. Android app progress

    Build

The Android app has its shared logic for chat, notifications, privacy choices, and offline queueing built and tested. Android is still coming soon and has not been released.

  6. Initial build of the Mac app and services

    Build

The first full build now exists: the Mac desktop shell, the shared app with chat, agents, research, Docs, Slides, Sheets, PDF, Designer, multimedia, Automated Tasks, Browser, Memory, Projects, Connectors, Drive, and the App Store, plus the Password Manager and Notebook. It is in testing and has not been released.

  7. Privacy choices default to Off

    Security

Every optional privacy switch starts Off, including the daily Google Drive export, analytics, crash reports, and personalization. Screen-watching memory is opt-in, for adults only, and never available on child profiles.

  8. Website updated to match the build

    Site

Features now separate what is built from what is coming soon, and the download and security pages describe where things stand. Nothing is publicly released yet, and no price or credit amount is set.
